Curated French animation film and movies

I'll keep it simple, just see for yourself. I loved these movies and I hope you'll do too.
Animation films
I mean, you can watch Ratatouille but there's much more to animation than Pixar. Especially in French. Here is some films curated by me which shows more the possibilities of animation, while you learn French at the same time
- La fameuse invasion des ours en Sicile (Beautiful soundtrack, colourful animation that made my heart sing)
- Ma vie de courgette (Deep and moving story of a young boy, stop motion)
- Panique au village (The funniest stop motion show, totally absurd. The movie is even better, with a surf music OST)
- La traversée (Winner of Annecy Animation Festival at some point. Beautiful painted animation and a very sad story about being a migrant. Maybe you've seen the animation documentary "Flee". It's the same kind of story, but fiction. Also, Flee is in English)
Movies
Whew. It's hard to make a list without losing an hour trying to sort them by theme, remembering the best ones, thinking hey they should also be accessible online and it needs variety! In the end, I didn't even see most of the movies here!
- Le Trou (The Great Escape, but French)
- Portrait de la jeune fille en feu
- La Haine (La banlieue… j'adore ce film)
- Z (Costas Gavras. So thrilling! I love and hate true crime political dramas so much. So much anger in these movies. Same as Leave No Traces, long but worth it. Makes me think of Quiz Show too, or Il Traditore)
- Demain (documentary about ecology and our future. Haven't seen it yet but had a big success and brought a lot of change in people's minds)
- Un pays qui se tient sage (documentary, police violence)
- Le monde selon Monsanto (documentary, fertiliser)
- Les faiseurs de suisses (a 1978 comedy about the naturalisation process in Switzerland. Contains German and French. Top of the Swiss Box Office until 1997)
